| AFTER the update is done with sim rerates and new contracts, each team will have the right to apply an NHL rerate to two (2) players.
Please post a reply to this thread listing your two players and a link to their NHL stats, ONLY if you feel they are incorrectly rated in this sim.
I will take into consideration his stats from current/previous seasons and if i feel the player is not correctly rated, I will apply necessary changes.
Please keep in mind, if said player is up for a contract extension, his salary negotiations will be based on his new ratings.
Each team has only two such picks. They are NOT a tradeable commodity.
Once your rerates are complete, they are non-reversable. Also, you do run the risk that a selected player may not receive much a reate at all. Buyer beware, you cannot select again.

They are. Like Hudler changed, although some are easy to miss if you didn't look thoroughly enough at them (only PA, SC and DF went up for Hudler, for example).

I understand that we "run the risk that a selected player may not receive much a reate at all. Buyer beware, you cannot select again." BUT can a player re rate down?? ie a defense with really good offensive numbers, so that would go up, BUT his +/- is crappy because he is on a bad. Would his already mediocre +/- go down or stay the same?

| I don't think either Brodie or Russell went up in ps/sc which I am fine with it's the df rating I'm more referring to if one guy is a +15 and the other is +18 then their df should of went up from an 80df. Even if it was to like say an 82. | |

| We just need an explanation of how the NHL rerate actually works. I got Johnny Gaudreau related and he related from 56 to 64. He was rerated to 65 in puck handling and endurance. | |

if memory serves, Gaudreau had 25 goals and 30 something assists. That's the nature of an NHL rerate

I would never rerate a player down. if the numbers did not warrant an increase, then no change would occurr

| Guys, there were players requested for rerates that were rated marginally in the current sim, and who had stellar seasons in the real life league. They enjoyed the most in the rerates
ie. Gaudreau, STone, Kucherov, to and a few more where rated in the 50's or early 60s and put up 50+ points in the real life NHL. These are the types of guys who the NHL rerate is made for.
For players that are 68 and above, as an example, not a rule, would enjoy a much smaller upgrade, if any at all.
